The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, held annually since 1996, took place on December 1, 2024, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This iconic race offers participants a chance to run through the historic Angkor Wat temple complex, with distances including a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km fun run. Beyond being a premier sporting event, it supports landmine victims, raising funds for prosthetic limbs and reintegration programs.
Prime Minister Hun Manet, who served as the event's honorary guest and took part in the 5 km fun run, commended the organizing committee for ensuring the event was a smooth and successful experience. With over 30 nationalities represented and participants of all ages, The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon was a tremendous success for the Kingdom of Cambodia.
